Cone Beam Cat Scanner

A cone beam CT scanner is on-site and is used to provide a 3-D view of jaws and teeth. A CT scan allows for accurate viewing of impacted and cracked teeth, pathology, and other abnormalities. Dr. Lyons uses this technology to plan and provide precise placement of dental implants. This diagnostic tool is important in visualizing the location of nerves, sinuses, and other vital structures. Dr. Lyons uses the CT scan and a computer program to provide “Guided Surgery”.
